When you're in a hospital bed and the doctors tell your wife to prepare for the worst, there is little you can do about it. When you make a miraculous recovery and get a second chance at life, there is a lot you can do about it. This story is about what almost dying taught me about really living. It took a stroke that should have killed me for me to have these realizations. I hope you can learn these lessons without having, as they say, "a medical event."
