This book is about the freedoms guaranteed to us in our constitution. As citizens we must not only be aware of these freedoms but must understand the significance of each of them and what they represent. I feel the approach in this book has never been taken to not only understand and know the freedoms but their significance. Each freedom has its own story and their story will be presented and explained. The subjects are part of our Constitution but they are more than that. They are the fabric which makes our country what it is today and hopefully what it will be far into the future. The topic of each chapter is being covered to provide a better understanding of our rights as citizens. In recent times there has been confusion about some of these rights and my intent is to clear up the confusion with the information provided for each topic. No political party or government organization has the right or authority to impact these rights through legislation. There are times I feel that the Supreme Court must address any issue associated with these rights.
