Defying medical odds, Miguel survived to share this story. About the Author Miguel Ortiz is a native of New York, currently living in Georgia. He is the proud father of two sons. He is a novice writer, an avid golfer, and a veteran of the War in Vietnam. Miguel worked for UPS for 22 years. He is happy to have survived his health scare to live to write about his journey back and his recovery.
