The H.A.V.C.'s water supply grows toxic once more, and the mermaid takes a desperate gamble to speed up her quest. Not only does the gamble backfire, but the mermaid and Torque tumble into mutant territory within the canyons of a volcanic hellscape. A desperate battle ensues!
