Billie's journey is set in the rustic feel of Langley, Virginia despite the technological advancements present. And through seemingly unexplainable blackouts and paranormal experiences, Billie and supporting characters such as her sister, special agent of the CIA, Shay Lamour, father David Eleos Sr., and twin brother David Eleos Jr. find themselves positioned against an illegal organization known as Ares and one of their operatives, General Terrance Coolidge. While Billie initially believes the seemingly dead program is better off dealt with by members of government like her sister and those who had arrested her, she quickly realizes the importance of her interference.
