In 1959, I read an article about cadets from West Point stealing the Navy's mascot. The NAVY goat. I thought that that was cool. I used to think of many ways to steal the goat and not get caught. This is when I started to write the book. In 1992, I read another article about Army cadets trying to steal the Navy goat again. At about the same time I read an unrelated article about THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF'S TROPHY. I read more about it, and I said to myself that it would be great if the trophy could be stolen. I wrote more notes in the book. As I followed Desert Storm, 1 was intrigued by the air war, especially "Operation Normandy'. I wrote some notes. THEN CAME COVID. With everything coming to a halt, I started adding more to my notes. Finally in 2021, I went crazy writing hour after hour, day after day. All of a sudden, I had a book. I wondered if anyone else would enjoy reading it. So, here it is.
