Antisemitism has evolved from religious persecution to supposedly racial discrimination, and currently manifests as a direct attack on the Jew of the world, represented by Israel. The lies, diatribes, and fake news about the Jewish state range from the absurd to the implausible. Despite this, a majority seems willing to believe the most incredible falsehoods said or written about Israel, much like how in the past myths such as unleavened bread being made with the blood of Christian children or Jews poisoning the water during the Black Plague were believed.
