Working with the greatest artists of the day, including Pierre Boulez, George Balanchine, Martha Graham, Eugene Ormandy, Stella Adler, Agnes de Mille, Ruby Dee, Merce Cunningham and others, Mr. Brockway brought high art into the homes of the average American.
