Colt Blackwood and Salis Starhawk have grow closer since their first meeting on Earth. They know that they are going to be lifemates when they are older and have stayed together for that reason, even though the adults in their lives can't believe that they already know that they are destined to be together. They become young ambassadors for the Telepathic Alliance and are instrumental in helping two worlds to free themselves from their would be oppressors.
