About the Artist: Jennifer Bell was born in Fort St. John, BC and is of South Slavey ancestry and a member of the Fort Nelson First Nation, she was raised and currently resides in Charlie Lake, BC. From a young age, Jennifer was taught traditional arts by her grandmother and mother.Jennifer’s work celebrates both contemporary and traditional styles: her work includes moccasins, jewelry, card cases, dream catchers, and feather wraps. Her work has been showcased in local indigenous markets in Fort St. John, BC.
