When Kitty Rankin gave a sermon called "How Do You Know When God is Speaking to You?" over twenty years ago, it was an instant success. People in the audience rushed up to get a copy of the sermon. The theme had struck a nerve: aren't we all longing to know when God is really trying to get through to us? Since that time, the eight keys outlined in the sermon have shown themselves in Kitty's own life experience in her career, her call to seminary, the process of getting an invention created, founding a women's networking group, and even the dark times in her life. Each experience has helped to solidify her faith, even though she didn't have all the answers or the knowledge at the time. Connections were made, doors became open, and opportunities arose that didn't seem possible. To reach all those who are seeking to understand and grow further in faith, God called Kitty to share her spiritual memoir through God inspired spiritual knowledge. The Reverend Kitty Rankin was called to become a Presbyterian minister after a successful career in the business world. She attended Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, graduating in 2003, and has ministered in Alabama and North Carolina. She is a minister at First Presbyterian Church, Bessemer City, NC, and Pastor to Seniors at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Gastonia, NC.
