The year is 1987 and the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus is living with his mother in a small house in Sacramento when suddenly there is a knock on the door.. How far does reading go? At what point does the act of reading catapult the reader into the seemingly inevitable desire that leads to writing? What is the line that divides reading from writing, and what happens in the process of trying to import the perspective one enjoys on one side of that line onto the other side?
