Eldred Gregory Peck, born on April 5th, 1916, La Jolla, San Diego, California, U.S., was an actor, having been one of the most popular movie stars from the 1940s to the 1960s. Peck received 5 Academy Award for Best Actor nominations, winning once for his performance as Atticus Finch, in the 1962 drama film To Kill a Mockingbird.
