- Glycolic Acid is the smallest of the alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs). It acts as a gentle exfoliator, helping to buff away dead skin cells and reveal soft, more even-toned skin underneath. This gentle exfoliator also has nourishing fruit extracts to soothe while glycolic acid helps to address visible sun damage, textural irregularities and helps to prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. In order for a Glycolic Acid formula to exfoliate while still being gentle on the skin, it should be in the 5-10% range. Our Glycolic Acid (AHA) Toner has a Glycolic Acid concentration of 7% and a pH between 3.5 and 4.5.
- DIRECTIONS: Cleanse your face. Apply to face and neck with a cotton pad, wiping in an outward direction. Use once daily. CAUTION: Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician. Use only as directed. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration. For external use only. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep away from children. SUNBURN ALERT: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun. It is recommended that prior to exposure to the sun, users cover areas where product has been applied with sunscreen.
