In Midora the moon bleeds and horrors stalk the wilds in an endless hunt.
At twelve years old, Azil faces this world alone. She was born beneath a Monster Moon, granting her the ability to walk in dreams while cursing her with sleeplessness. Since her father was claimed by the Sickness, she has faced the scrutiny of her fellow villagers who brand her a witch and deny her any kindness.
Azil yearns for the simple comforts that life has withheld from her. When the Inquisitors of the church pass through her town on a routine inspection for the Sickness, they discover that she is a Dreamwalker. Upon this discovery, she is brought to the prosperous Bastion city of Stell, for what purpose she is not yet sure.
For the first time in her life, Azil is warm, and fed, and safe. However, as with all good things in Midora, it cannot last for long.
