- 1. Remove any contact lenses. 2. Use recommended eye wash solution to rinse the eye wash cup before use to sterilize the cup. 3. Fill eye wash cup with recommended eye wash solution. 4. Press cup up against the eye. Press firmly enough to create a seal. Note: Keeping the liquid in the cup can help clean out the eyes thoroughly. 5. Tilt head backwards, open eye slowly and move around for cleaning. 6. Tilt head forward and discard used eye wash. Rinse eye wash cup out with water and repeat on the other eye.
