These delightful stories are based upon an area on the sunshine coast of Australia known as "England In The Tropics" because of its landscape similarities, the difference being mainly climatic. The environment here is quite beautiful, with gently undulating fields, magnificent trees, sunny skies, and chuckling little creeks. Chlorysta Creek made a happy background murmur, brilliant sunshine beamed upon it, and twinkling sparkles rippled across its surface. It had two dams, which supported a community of native animals.
