Hence there are two methods defended, which may be combined in the correct View Of the subject. I) introspection, OR the subjective method. This is self-analysis, reflection upon one's own states, the exami nation by consciousness Of its own phenomena. In it con sciousness is both the instrument and the Object Of inquiry.
