The sitz bath is comfortable, cnvenient way to cleanse and promote healing of disorders of the perineum. Especially beneficial after an episiotomy. Basin preparation: raise toilet seat and lid. Place sitz bath basin on toilet bowl with "FRONT" desgination towards the front of the toilet bowl. Fill sitz bath basin with warm water 38 degrees C-40 degree C (100 F- 105F) 1/2 to 2/3 full. Insert sitz bath tubing through front or rear entry hole in the sitz bath basin. Snapo or secure sitz bath tube into channel in basin bottom. BAG PREPARATION: Positiojn flow control clamp towards sitz bath bag. Using clamp, close tubing by sliding clamp over tube from wide to narrow side. Open top of the bag and fill with hot water 40degree C - 43 degree C (105 F-110F). place or hang bag approximately 1 foot above sitz bath. TREATMENT: Sit in sitz bath for 15-20minutes. Maintain water temperature by opening clamp and adding water. (overflow will drain through openings at theback of the basin.) Oce desired temperature is reached, close the camp. After treatment, empty and rinse the basin . CLEANING: Empty remaining water into toilet. rinse bowl with hot water. Wipe well. replace in plastic bag until next use. <br><strong> Warnings</strong></br>Product desgined for single patient use. To avoid burns, temperature of water used in treatment should not exceed 43 degree °C (110 °F).
