Jiang Mingzhu is suspected by Zhan Yubai and is under surveillance. However, as they get along, Jiang Mingzhu and Zhou Li gradually develop feelings for each other. By chance, Jiang Mingzhu discovers Zhan Yubai's secret meeting with Liu Pei. It turns out that they have conspired to hurt Pei Yu'an, and there seems to be a bigger conspiracy behind this. Zhou Li also begins to investigate Jiang Mingzhu's background and discovers that there may be an unknown past between her and Zhan Yubai.
