Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival (Reissue) (Opaque Apple Red LP) Main Genre:  Rock Style:  Roots Rock   Craft Recordings | Vinyl | 12 inch | Standard Weight | Reissue | Opaque Apple Red | Non Exclusive | Individual unit | 2025   # of Tracks:  11 # of Discs:  1   Nowadays superstar bands release an album no more frequently than once a year, or in many cases once every two or three years. But in 1969, there was simply no stopping Creedence Clearwater Revival. 1969 proved to be an epic year in the band’s too-short history. In that year alone they released three Top Ten albums, had four hit singles (charting at #2, #2, #2 and #3, respectively) with three additional charting B-sides. They even found time to record a fourth chart-topping album released the following year. Cosmo’s Factory, released July 1970, included the hits “Traveling Band” and its hit B-side “Who’ll Stop the Rain,” “Lookin’ Out My Back Door,” “Run Through the Jungle,” and a swampy 11-minute rendition of the Marvin Gaye hit “I Heard It Through the Grapevine.” The album, cited in Rolling Stone‘s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, was named after the room in which the band – John, his brother Tom (on rhythm guitar and some lead vocals), bassist Stu Cook, and drummer Doug Clifford – used to practice. By 1990, it had been certified four times platinum (4,000,000 units sold) by the RIAA.   Tracklisting: Side A Ramble Tamble Before You Accuse Me Travelin' Band Ooby Dooby Lookin' Out My Back Door Run Through the Jungle   Side B Up Around the Bend My Baby Left Me Who'll Stop the Rain I Heard It Through the Grapevine Long as I Can See the Light
