Twenty summers have passed since Stone-Tongue spoke in the voice of the Ley. Twenty winters since the mute girl Petronia abandoned her role of avatar to the life force followed by the Ryders which flows through all living things. Now she rules over the land of Geoll alongside King Aarold while her brother Hayden is consort to the Dwarf Queen Bracken. All has been at peace for the past two decades.
But now Bracken and Hayden’s youngest daughter Amethyst senses a threat to the Ley, despite the fact Dwarfs are meant to be immune to Its’ pull. Meanwhile, her cousins Leopol and Pyrus must set out on a quest to defeat a sinister cult of tree worshippers set on destroying all manner of illness and disability.
Summoning their own gifts to interpret the will of the Ley, they must place sibling rivalry aside to rescue their homeland and parents from the evil sect and uncover secrets that threaten the very core of the Sisterhood of Ley Ryders.
