A young girl, a field trip to the art museum, and her dad’s interest in her day’s experiences launch the reader into the world of Boring as narrated by our protagonist Emily. This book is a sequel to the book Nothing which was also presented in a comic-graphic novel picture book and which introduced Emily as a supporting character. In this new adventure we follow Emily as she answers her dad’s inquiries by assuring him that her time at the Art Museum was summarily ‘boring.’ However, her reality, real or imagined, takes the reader on several adventures that paint a picture of some extraordinary experiences and a unique perspective.
