This tongue in cheek historical novel is a collection of interrelated occurrences happening after the end of World War II. It is also novel because all of them are based on the various usages of the word "stroke". Some involve army officers, others involve civilians, but all of them experience unexpected happenings. They are interwoven with many of the realities of live, such as: humor in its various forms; immorality, love and romance; meetings, partings and reunions; and deaths, funerals and inheritance. It is meant for young adults as well as adults of all ages.
