‘As You Like It’ is the dramatic representation of a love story of Orlando and Rosalind. There are love and beauty scattered in ‘As You Like It’ but there is no lack of laughter and unrestrained joy too. In this play, sketch of female character is more excellent and successful than the male character. Role of a clown cannot be neglected also. It is said that on completion of the play when Shakespeare could not think suitable title for it, he left the title for spectators as they want, that is, ‘As You Like It.’ On the whole, this play is interesting, entertaining and full of romantic beauty.
