Disappointed by failed life plans, a young women sets off to the other side of the world to escape everything in her previous life. Moving from one living environment to the next she becomes embroiled with three different men, each embodying elements of the environment in which she lives and works. With each part of her life coming to a head, the decisions about her future become increasingly difficult, with her finally having to commit to a choice about which direction to go. A modern day love story, with similarities to the novel, Far from the Madding Crowd, where a woman learns how to deal with the conflicts of love in a challenging new world.
