We are committed to delivering the highest standards of safety for our community. In keeping with this commitment, we have implemented new cleaning protocols, physical distancing measures within Prairie Mall and safety practices. Prairie Mall consistently monitors traffic patterns to adhere to capacity limits as announced by the province of Alberta, effective December 13, 2020.

With the new restrictions beginning Sunday December 13th, we can no longer offer seating in our Food Court as all food must be taken to go. Moxies is open for Take out and Delivery only, their delivery methods are through Skip the Dishes and Door Dash. These restrictions will be in place until January 11th unless new mandates are put forward by the Alberta Government. 

Mandatory Masks:  For the health and safety of our community non-surgical masks or face coverings which cover the mouth, nose and chin are mandatory when visiting Prairie Mall. City of Grande Prairie By-law C-1426 dated September 8, 2020, effective October 26 2020.

  • Mandatory non surgical masks and face coverings.
  • Reduced shopping hours
  • Monitoring of safe physical distancing
  • Implementation of physical distancing markers as required
  • Increased hand sanitizing stations, to include entrances and high frequency areas
  • Limited Food Court Seating available.
  • Restrooms will be modified to provide appropriate distancing
  • Increased cleaning schedule
  • Face masks to be worn by Prairie Mall staff, janitorial and security personnel
  • Signage reminding employees and shoppers of safe shopping guidelines
  • Large event activations will be suspended until further notice

We ask you to please:

  • Wear an appropriate face covering that will cover your nose, mouth and chin.
  • Practice safe physical distancing by keeping 2 metres (6ft) away from others.
  • ​Sanitize your hands before and after entering the mall.
  • Stay home if you are sick or have come into contact with someone who is sick.

At this time, we are operating as “cashless” and will only be accepting DEBIT or CREDIT as payment for Prairie Mall Gift Card sales.

Due to Government Regulations, we will not be lending Strollers or Wheelchairs at this time. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; however your health and safety are our top priority.

Prairie Mall is now offering Curbside Pickup in partnership with participating retailers

  1. Visit shopprairiemall.com to check the list of participating retailers
  2. Select the retailer you would like to shop at and contact the individual store by phone or online to confirm operating hours, the availability of the desired merchandise, and payment options to complete your purchase
  3. When your order is ready the retailer will notify you of the date and time for pickup
  4. For pickup please proceed to the designated curbside pickup area and call the store to confirm your arrival. A store employee will deliver a contactless purchase to your vehicle

Pickup time available between Monday- Saturday 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM and  Sundays 11:00-5:00PM
